My Mother.

If you haven’t met my mother, you should. She has a heart of gold. She loves people and has passion for serving others. She is generous with her time and God-given gifts. She loves Jesus and it pours out into all aspects of her life. When I think of a servant heart, someone who is sacrificial {besides Jesus} I think of my Mom.

She has always wanted the best for each of us kids and when I look back I see a pattern of loving sacrifice. She made sure that we were able to follow our dreams and passions and was one of our biggest cheerleaders. She was at every game, every event cheering us on, supporting us and overflowing with pride.

You have been an encouragement to me to always be myself and to love others like Christ. Thank you, Mom, for your sacrifice and for pushing me to Jesus so that I can be the best possible Lindsay. You are going to make a wonderful, compassionate grandmother.

Thank you. Happy Birthday.

“An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels. The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain. She does him good, and not harm, all the days of her life… Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised. Give her to the fruit of her hands, and let her works praise her in the gates.” — Proverbs 31:10-12,30-31
